Yippy! I started to blog again...and you know why? Coz I saw a tag from Jerlene, so nice of her to leave a tag when I haven't been updating. I haven't seen her in school lately, kinda miss her too hehe. You take care too ger, study hard for the exams k...=) All the best!
I hate Amos! Just kidding lar....seriously I haven't been humiliated so badly in my life before.
Wait to sidetrack abit, I have just been bitten by a bloody mosquito while blogging. I kept scratching my thighs thinking that I have rashes or something and when i look down, my upper thighs are all RED! Thanks to that freaking-kind-mosquito who aimed my fleshy thighs ( I am angry), can't it go into my sis room to attack her instead of me! I would then now console myself and say that my blood is sweeter than my sis....SO itchy!!!! AH!!!!!!! Can't wait to kill that mosquito....( I feel that I am in Pulau Ubi now as I am really itching all over...argh...!!!)
Oya to continue with my story... Actually I was flipping through my economics study guide when I saw these words in bold: Passive understanding. It just reminded me of how he replied the girl sacarsticly when she said that she was a passive learner.
Amos asked a question and waited for someone to raise his/her hands to answer his question. Since no one raise their hands up, he begin to pick. He pointed to a girl and asked her the question.
Girl replied her answer to his question
Amos: so why didn't you raise your hands to answer since you know the answer?
Girl: I am a Passive learner.
Amos: There's no such thing as a Passive learner. ( fierce tone) You will not learn if you are a Passive learner.
Can't remember what else he said to her but I remember that it was sacarstic.
Anyway, that day was on 26/3 when I just got home from my Korea trip. Still in a holiday mood, I was so cheery and all that day. I kept talking to Ben who was sitting quietly beside me when suddenly he said,
Ben: shhh.....you talk very loud you know...
Jas: Isit? Sorry, I shall speak softer.
Amos: So do you understand this?
Amos looked and pointed to me.
Amos: So isit a yes or a no? You were talking to you partner just now so do you understand what I explained?
From this instant I was truely stunt!!! Speechless. I nodded my head as a reply to his question.
Amos: I can't see you from here, the light is too glaring, I think you are a girl. (Amos placed his hands on his forehead to cover against the glaring lights)
Amos: So what economy A has comparative advantage in producing?
I didn't answer his question so Amos climb all the way up to the last row where I was sitting and asked me the question. At this point of time everyone turn their heads to look at me, I was sitting at such a good spot, right in the middle of last row that everyone has a gd view of me. Really, at the point of time I can't wait to dig a hole on the spot and hide my head in it like a ostrich does. So embarrassing!!!!!!
Sidetrack: I hate that mosquito!!!!!! I sprayed repellent on both arms and legs and now it is trying to attack my FACE!!!! Come on, are you that hungry??? I can't possibly spray repellent on my face you idiot!!!!! BUZZ OFF WILL YOU!!!!!!
Amos covered up the answer that I had on my desk and cont asking the question.
I trembled and answer: Economy A has comparative advantage in producing gd Y.
Amos: Ok and why?
Jas: Because economy A produces more of gd Y than economy B.
Amos walks down and continued with the lecture.
All mixed feelings ran through me, I felt humiliated, petrified, shock, sad.....really really embarrassing. I wanted to cry which was so stupid of me to do so. The timid nature in me starts to act and the fear in me overpowered my bubbly nature. I went speechless throughout the whole lecture...that feeling really sucks.
Who else I have to blame?
Not Amos Witztum but myself.
I hate myself for being talkative, I hate myself for being scolded by Amos the Wizard.
